Dr. Fredric Schlesinger
Dr. Schlesinger has been a licensed practicing veterinarian since 1984. He seved on the excutive board of the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association. Dr Schlesinger moved to New Mexico from New York State in 2003 and continued his practice of Veterinary Medicine in Rio Rancho, Albuquerque and Santa Fe, including working here at High Desert Animal Hospital in 2005 and 2006. Dr Schlesinger has had three children graduate from Rio Rancho School District.
Dr Eddie Chavez
Dr. Chavez has been a lifelong resident of Corrales. He graduated from West Mesa High and went on to graduate from Kansas State with his Veterinary degree. He has practiced here in New Mexico for over 40 years. Eddie enjoys fly fishing, wood working and constuction, he also enjoys photography and wine making.
Ted moved here from North Carolina where he also owned a veterinary clinic. He enjoys our New Mexico weather and is a fan of anything done outdoors. Ted's daughter is currently attending the University of New Mexico, but she left dad in charge of her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Nestle; Ted has recently adopted an additional King Charles named Coco.
Rose is a graduate of Pima Institute and has worked in the veterinary field for 10 years with High Desert Animal Hospital. She has two daughters, Kara who is 8, and Ava who is 5 along with her other fur kids 2 cats and 3 dogs. Rose enjoys caring for animals and calls all of our patients "her kids". I welcome you and your love ones to High Desert Animal Hospital. I will help care for your babies and you.
Erika graduated from Pima in 2004 and has been working at High Desert since April 2014. She loves spending time with her 4 children and running 5k's. Erika has 2 dogs Lil Jack and Minnie and a hedgehog named Quillbert.
